Michael is proud to commit to his community, through providing his talents and helping with a variety of fundraisers in the community. Furthermore, Michael is committed to donating 5% of gross revenues to charitable organizations. Some of the causes Michael currently funds are:
1) Michael Lifshitz In-Course Bursary for Students with Disabilities – A bursary at Concordia University, Michael’s alma matter, to support a student with a disability in pursuing their undergraduate studies.
2) Michael Lifshitz Endowment for Post Secondary Education – An endowment with the War Amps of Canada, the income from which goes to help support War Amps Bursaries. War Amps Bursaries are available to members of CHAMP between the ages of 18 and 24 who are pursuing post-secondary education.
3) The Drop150 Challenge – In 2017, Michael set out to celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday by raising $15,000 for Easter Seals Canada through their Drop Zone Challenge, a fundraiser where participants raise a minimum goal in order to be allowed to rappel off an office building. With the help of many generous donors, Michael is well on his way to his goal of $15,000. Click here for the latest update on the fundraising efforts.
